The War of the Worlds Experience in London
This adaptation by visionary composer Jeff Wayne is totally groundbreaking in London and across Europe.
At the beginning they will tell you a short story that serves as an introduction to the experience. A few minutes later you will already be going through the different floors of the building where the development of the story takes place. There are multi-sensory experience rooms, actors scattered around the different rooms and even a bar where you can have some cocktails. The best moment, the virtual reality experience where you will be in the middle of an authentic naval battle.
The approximate duration of the experience is about 2 hours including a 20-minute intermission where you can be in the bar, set in the Victorian era, the “Red Weed Bar” but with the small difference that a Martian invasion is taking place outside and you don’t know if you can survive it.
During the development of the story they make you feel part of it at all times. There is a time when even a Martian will manage to sneak into the building, so you must be prepared for everything that can happen.
From 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. groups enter every 10 minutes . The number of people in each group is limited to 12 people, so they make sure that everyone can enjoy it and that there are no crowds.
They can only enter over 12 years old, so if you travel with small children it may not be the most appropriate experience.
Here we leave you a small video with the Trailer of the experience so you can see what we are talking about.
At the end of the experience you will go out to The Spirit of Man restaurant . They have a pretty good informal menu with meats, hamburgers and various vegetarian options so depending on what time you go you can have lunch or dinner there before continuing on your route through London.
